About Our Design+Build Company

GreenScapes Landscape Company is the premier Design+Build landscape firm in Central Ohio. Since 1977, we have a long history of creating prominent residential and commercial projects. We’ve completed work for The Ohio State University, Franklin Park Conservatory, The Columbus Zoo, Nationwide, and the most stunning private residences in Central Ohio.

Originally founded by Bill Gerhardt, RLA & alum of the OSU Landscape Architecture program, GreenScapes has recently evolved into an employee-owned company. Utilizing a balanced approach with residential, commercial and maintenance divisions, GreenScapes continues to expand our footprint in the greater Columbus market, an area continuously developing and providing a steady supply of project opportunities!

As a full-service company with Landscape Architects, Landscape Designers & Horticulturists on staff, GreenScapes offers landscape design, installation, landscape construction, and maintenance. Other specialties include outdoor living environments, living roofs, irrigation, water features, lighting and snow removal. Most of our field staff is certified by the Ohio Nursery & Landscape Association.

GreenScapes has the capacity to complete projects of all sizes and has received numerous awards for design, installation and safety. Our team uses state-of-the-art 3D technology to allow clients to visualize projects before installation begins.

We’re also a Live Roof Certified landscape company and incorporate sustainable and environmentally beneficial design elements into all projects.

Summer Internship Program

Our paid 12-week rotational internship program gives students the opportunity to learn our entire Design+Build process. What sets our program apart from other internships is that we provide a well-rounded experience in field work and landscape design work, showing how they work cohesively, offering real-world knowledge that interns will be able to apply in their careers! This program may be modified as needed at any time.

Interns will gain a hands-on experience in the following areas:

• Landscape Construction (Field)
• Design & Sales
• Nursery (Field)
• Project Management (Ride along w/ Project Managers)

What We Offer

GreenScapes offers a highly competitive hourly wage, including paid holidays after 30 days of employment. As GreenScapes Landscape continues to grow, there may be room for temp-to-hire.
