GreenScapes Landscape Co. was selected to execute the full landscape installation for the Columbus Metropolitan Main Library’s downtown campus renovation in Columbus, OH. Working from designs by MKSK, our team helped transform the exterior spaces into vibrant, functional landscapes that complement the Library’s expanded public areas and reconnect the historic campus to Topiary Park.
East Entrance & Outdoor Library Campus
Our work included installing a variety of trees, shrubs, perennials, and turf to create welcoming outdoor reading rooms, a stage for small performances, and patios for the first-floor reading room and Carnegie Café. These plantings were carefully selected and placed to enhance circulation, provide visual interest, and frame the new public gathering spaces.
Plaza & Park Integration
We installed hardscape elements and landscaped areas that help integrate the Library campus with the adjacent Topiary Park, turning previously underutilized spaces into community-friendly areas that invite interaction and engagement.
